“I Like Stuff” is about hoarding and is sung from the perspective of one of the quieter band members, Mal, who only got to “step out” once to sing this particular song, and which would unwittingly out him internationally as a world-class hoarder, ultimately sending him into a reclusive tailspin phase of his career.
“Inhaler” is literally the song Gaz wrote specifically to help him remember the name of his prescription, as he’d keep wandering off to the chemists but forgetting the name by the time he got there.
